During the International Transport and Logistics Forum, a delegation led by H.E. Amb. Mohamed Ali Nur (Americo) the Director General of the Mogadishu Port Authority, held a high-level meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Transport and Logistics of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi delegation included Naif Saleh Samkari, Director of the Marine Environment Department, and Najla Alfarraj, an Environmental Specialist. Discussions focused on strengthening maritime cooperation, advancing the implementation of the existing memorandum of understanding, and aligning efforts with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) strategy on environmental protection and emissions reduction.
